I am fighting my first illness of the season……..I am very lucky…………I already know this!! But right now I am hating my sinuses.  I tend to treat myself and have currently medicated myself with OTC concoctions to the point of feeling slightly dizzy.  I may seek the advice of an actual health care professional on Monday if I am not better. My sister is a critical care nurse; she was here this morning and seemed unconcerned. She actually seems unconcerned about ones health unless their organs are hanging outside their body or something more important like that. 

Speaking of health – if you are able to be sitting, laying or standing somewhere and reading this and feeling pretty good – count your lucky stars.  A good friend of mine, who happens to be younger, was put into hospice care yesterday – I can’t tell you how much that sucks ass. This friend is strong, upbeat, funny, sarcastic, and an all around good egg. He never complains. He is exactly who this should NOT be happening to. So if any of you other panty wastes (like me today) are complaining about sniffles, body aches, etc. shut your fucking pie holes – I just shut mine.

I told him yesterday in a written message how kick ass I think he is – that is why I picked this saying to post today – don’t let things go unsaid – I rarely skip an opportunity to say something. His wife is also totally kick ass – I sent her her own message!

Another big shout out to all of you that read my post about the U of I women’s basketball team – a ton of you liked their Facebook page and I hope to see some of you at the game tomorrow! Another friend of mine commented on my blog about the sunny state team he supports --- speaking of EY – have I told you how happy I am to have such a diverse group of readers?? Love that!! 

Aside from his message I got a private message from someone telling me how excited her 7 year old son is about the women’s basketball season – she did remind me he is also excited about farting and dirt. No offense to the basketball team– because, come on – who isn’t excited about farting and dirt??

Love you all, but have to get back to some other work and some football watching – the Bytch will be cheering for the Ravens, Seahawks, Packers and Broncos today and tomorrow. If you don’t know what I’m talking about don’t ask. If you disagree with my picks, suck it!
