Today I am doing some soul searching and trying to decide which projects I want to pursue next -- I have many options in front of me - and I do not think I can do them all -- I am very much against half assing anything....... No, spell check, assing is not a word -- until now!!

In thinking through all of this, one of my favorite movie lines came to mind. It is a line I thought was hilarious at the time (although inappropriate) and I have never forgotten it.......perhaps it is too much like my own way of thinking.

In 1985 a movie named Volunteers came out starring Tom Hanks among others. He played a rich boy with a gambling problem and thus a loan shark problem. In running from the sharks he ends up on a plane that is going on a Peace Corp mission. He gets off the plane in some hot, third world area and states to the director of the organization "It's not that I can't help these people, it's that I don't want to help them!"

That sums up the Gym Bitch way of thinking.

I must also report today that one of my BFFs made a very snarky comment that was totally inappropriate......... I told her the whole story before she said it to anyone else...........I told her to just keep me as a friend, because if we live to be 100 she will never say more inappropriate things than I do. To that she said "Amen". See, I am good for some things!
