Wow - so it has been 6 months since the Bytch regaled you with an article. I was suddenly overloaded today with various things to bitch about that gave me inspiration. And several people have mentioned that they miss me. And by several, I probably mean 3 or 4. It's like when I say to Heatie, "we need to do _______". In that example we = you. If you have known me for more than a couple weeks you should understand those nuances of my speech. Now let's get on to several random thoughts and issues that have crossed my mind today.
First of all I went and saw The Magnificent Seven - my apologies to Mr. Washington and Mr. Pratt who I love - but that movie was awful. The script had issues, the continuity had issues, there was no way to become invested in any of the characters -bleh! And 2 hours of my life I will never get back. Just one woman's opinion - while I am not a professional film critic, I, like everyone else, has an opinoin - that is mine on this film.
I came home to Sunday night football - normally something I love -- but this game is much like our upcoming presidential election - there is no one good to root for. I am actually rooting for the Bears just in hopes that losses by Dallas add up to cheaper seats at the Dallas game I will be attending. And yes, I am fully aware that I just told you I don't like Dallas - but I am going there for a game. My friend Heather and I have made a pact to go to every NFL stadium in the country. AT&T Stadium is one getting ticked off the list this year.
Back to the game -- watching two teams I don't like - I then get hit with the news about Arnold Palmer - a true class act in the golf and sporting world. One of the greatest golfers in the world - aptly referred to as The King -and the man that gave us the idea to put ice tea and lemonade in the same glass. Rest in peace Mr. Palmer.
Now back to the presidential campaign..............again - I have no one to root for - I was hoping for a really strong independent person to lose all common sense and decide to run for what may be the worst job on the planet. I have considered political office - pretty sure I don't have the diplomacy skills or the knowledge - but seriously does any one person have the knowledge needed to run the country? Hell no is the correct answer. You assemble a strong team, you cross party lines and you start to run this fucking country like a business. Gym Bytch for president! I will relinquish the office if either/any party can produce a couple of actual viable candidates. Just so you know - since I opened my big mouth about politics - and you now know that I am not sold on the options in front of us - you may rest assured that I do not want to hear your opinion on why I should like one candidate over the other. If you find this last paragraph distasteful you can delete me. But there is a chance that I will be writing myself in on the ballot...........there you go - if you just started ranting about a wasted vote - I don't want to hear that either, but thanks for thinking of me. I am neither a republican nor democrat - I am truly an independent when it comes to politics - so once again - Gym Bytch for president - because I don't already have enough to do!
Love,
The Gym Bytch
