Ok, so who knew that speed limit signs were not merely a suggestion?? I just spent Saturday morning in driving school for the third time in my life. Give me a break. I have been driving a long time! Perhaps a little too quickly.

I actually enjoyed my class - love the instructor - same one I had a few years ago (you can only take this if it has been three years or more since your last visit!) And the people in the class were all good - not a single douche bag in the room -- well almost. There was one lady I wanted to punch in the throat - she was a little inappropriate. And that is coming from me. Time and place lady. Time and place.

We watched videos, used our workbooks, learned all about defensive driving. It turns out that I drive defensively, but I am more of an offensive driver. It is not appropriate to yell profanities and gesture at other drivers even when they are wrong.

Some other things I learned: Do not change your clothes while you are driving. It is not ok to text while sitting at a red light. Road Rage is actually defined as the use of your vehicle as a weapon with intent to do harm and is a criminal offense. It would be helpful if the general public understood that these asshole moves cause road rage: Cutting off another driver Not allowing another driver to pass Driving to slow Not using a turn signal............got that dipshits --- don't do things that cause road rage and you won't have to worry about me driving my urban assault vehicle up your ass.
