Blackout Wednesday - Revisited

Blackout Wednesday will not be celebrated by me this year - I did that 2 years ago. I had never heard of this celebration until I was three sheets to the wind and still doing shots at a local establishment that is now closed down. It was not because of that night. I will tell you that the next day was brutal - I only had to make mashed potatoes to take to my sister's house - but I could only get up and cut one potato at a time….then I had to lay back down on the couch.

This year I will behave myself - even though I don't have to do anything but drag my ass to a football game on Thursday……….The hangovers are getting nearly impossible at my advanced age.

I am actually writing today to let you know that even I can be thankful for things. And I mean things other than people at  the gym having all their jiggly shit covered - but God bless you all that do that! I am thankful for my family and my friends - these people keep me on the rails - and believe me that is no small feat. They keep me grounded, they keep me sane (relative only to myself not some societal definition of sanity), they make me laugh and they have been with me when I've cried. This year I would like to thank them all for that - and due in some part to all they have done and been through with me - they have helped me get to a new and very special person in my life - and for that I will be forever grateful! I also will not say anymore about said person because unlike the Bytch they prefer to fly under the radar - but if you are reading this - thank you for walking into my life - and good luck with staying under the radar and in the future be careful what you wish for!

For the rest of you, and by that I mean all 4 of my fans - have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving - and take a minute to say important words out loud to people you care about.

See you all in the gym after the tryptophan coma wears off!

Love,

The Gym Bytch
